Natsukawa Mana ( Touyama Nao) carries this aura of subtle intimidation that scares the mahjebus out of me and by extension, Eita and Masuzu. It was plain to assume that Masuzu had some life events that caused her to be this way, but never was it imaginable that it’d be something this well…terrible. Masuzu’s development as a deeply conflicted and perhaps unstable character has reached new heights with the introduction of one girl…perhaps one of the few people to make Masuzu tremble and lose control. Masuzu’s little sister is a terrible person, Himeka “Himekashizuka Heaven’s Rain, Burning Princess Saint Dragon Lady of Dawn” Akishino ( Kanemoto Hisako) would make any nerd’s heart flutter with her confessions, and man oh man I’m pretty sure that is NOT how you do CPR! That’s all I have to say.Īlas, for the sake of healthy discussion, some further elaboration is needed.

This site needs an editor - click to learn more! Content-wise, there is the occasional bit of "fanservice," but it's rather tame and not very "in your face."Īfter watching the first episode, I would personally recommend OreShura to anime viewers who are 14 or 15 years of age and older.
#Oreshura episode 1 discussion series
However, I could see this series having the most appeal with teenage anime viewers. It's a series that I'm not planning to go out of my way and watch more of anytime in the near future. I'm not saying that it's bad, but I just don't see anything to differentiate it from other anime series that are in a similar vein. To be honest, between the way the story seems to be going, the style of the animation, and the execution of the series, there's really nothing to make OreShura stand out for me from other "harem" shows that I have seen. The only real twist seems to be that Masuzu is using Eita and really isn't interested in him. In other words, it appears this series will quickly become a "harem" anime, with four cute girls fighting over the rather plain Eita. Of course, when rumors spread about Eita and Masuzu, Chiwa doesn't take the news well.įrom the opening credits, it appears there will be two other girls who end up competing for Eita as well. She uses blackmail to make Eita agree to this she managed to come across a notebook Eita had written his teenage delusions in, and she says she will make the contents of the notebook available for anyone to see if he doesn't agree. However, it turns out that she only wants him to be her fake boyfriend, so the boys at school will stop asking her out. One day, Masuzu confesses her love for Eita. During those two months, she has been asked about by 58 boys at the school. Masuzu spent nine years overseas, and just returned to Japan two months before the series begins. Masuzu Natsukawa is a popular girl in Eita's class, and they end up sitting next to each other when their teacher reassigns the classroom seating. It appears that Chiwa has romantic feelings for Eita, but she doesn't say anything to him. She loves to eat meat, and comes over to Eita's place to spend time with him and eat dinner with him. Eita now lives with one of his relatives.Ĭhiwa Harusaki is Eita's childhood friend. During junior high, he also had delusions of being the "Burning Fighting Fighter," which he documented in a notebook however, he gave up those delusions after his parents' divorce. He also has a disdain for love, because his parents dumped each other, found new lovers, and abandoned Eita while he was in junior high. The main character of the series is Eita Kido, a high school freshman who has excellent grades and wants to do well in school so he can attend medical school. OreShura (which is known as My Girlfriend and Childhood Friend Fight Too Much in Japan) is an anime based on a light novel series by Yuiji Yuiji.
